About the group

  • The L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science program “Young Talents Caribbean Region” covers 17 countries and 7 Associated Territories in the region. 


  • Launched in May 2023 and managed by L’Oréal Caribe in partnership with UNESCO Multisectoral Regional Office for the Caribbean and the Caribbean Academy of Sciences. 


  • Aims to promote and encourage the participation of Caribbean women in science, by identifying and rewarding young talented researchers at doctoral and post-doctoral level or in early stage of their scientific research in formal sciences, life and environmental sciences, material sciences, engineering and technology.
