About the group
- Together with UNESCO Brazil and the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, L'Oréal Brazil has promoted the program "For Women in Science" since 2006.
- Every year, in the local edition, seven young female researchers from different areas are chosen and awarded a scholarship to be invested in their research.
- The award has recognized more than 103 promising scientists, who have received extra impetus to continue their studies and further the development of science in Brazil.
