Together with UNESCO Brazil and the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, L'Oréal Brazil has promoted the program "For Women in Science" since 2006.
Every year, in the local edition, seven young female researchers from different areas are chosen and awarded a scholarship to be invested in their research.
The award has recognized more than 103 promising scientists, who have received extra impetus to continue their studies and further the development of science in Brazil.
