Call to Scientist and Tech communities: The future of science is in your hands!
Dear L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Alumnae,
UNESCO and Gender Scan are conducting a global survey to understand the challenges and opportunities for women and girls in the fields of science and technology.
Participation takes just 15 minutes and can be accessed via the following link:
https://gen2024.genderscan.org/
- Who is this survey for? All Staff members of private, public and civil society organizations and institutions who work in a science, engineering, technology or mathematical field (including teachers and academics, computer programmer, biologist, chemist, systems analysts, database administrators, engineers, and others).
- What does the survey involve? It focuses on understanding the perception of gender equality within the organization, work organization, career management, parental support, and sexist prejudices.
- What is our objective? Insights from this survey will be instrumental in shaping discussions at the upcoming G20 Summit in November 2024, driving policy and advocacy efforts towards fostering gender equality in STEM.
We deeply appreciate your support in disseminating this survey among your networks.
Together, let us endeavor to create a more inclusive and equitable landscape within the realm of science!
All the best,
The UNESCO Gender Division & The L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Team
