Dear all,

I would like to know if someone in our community tried to apply for an ERC grant ? I am thinking more and more about it (ERC starting) but I am also very nervous about this process. Unfortunately, everytime I convince myselft that I should try it, the impostor syndrome comes back and with this post I am looking for someone who can share her experience (sucessfull or not) and give some advice.

Thank you for your response and apologies for my very slow reply. I did not see that you responded to my post.

I guess what I am always wondering is : "Is my project ERC material ?" We do not have a kind of "Go -no GO "service that tells you if your project has chances to pass the first two selection stages.

Hi. The ERC at our university has been patient with new project leaders and have been guiding us in the preparation of ours. Do you have a specific area which serves a a stumbling block in the application process?
