World Science Day for Peace and Development 2021 - Building climate-ready communities

To celebrate the World Science Day for Peace and Development 2021, UNESCO will organize a webinar including a keynote speech and roundtables on the theme of “Building climate-ready communities” on Friday, 5 November, from 13.00 to 15.00 (CEST).
The purpose of this celebration is to bring science closer to society by highlighting some key scientific aspects and possible solutions provided by science, technology and innovation to some of the major global challenges society is facing today.
They will also include reflections on global health in a changing environment, featuring the laureates of the 2022 L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science International Awards.
