Organized by UNESCO’s Disaster Risk Reduction Unit in partnership with the U-Inspire Alliance, this online event will highlight how gender equality and community leadership can strengthen post-disaster reconstruction.
The session will explore how women, girls, and grassroots actors play a key role in building safer, more resilient, and inclusive communities, and will showcase practical examples and innovative approaches from different regions.
It will also examine how inclusive policies can help communities recover more effectively and sustainably.
