Taking place on 24–25 July 2025, from 09:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Kinshasa time, GMT+2) 

 High-level hybrid scientific conference hosted at the Institut National de Recherche Biomédicale (INRB) in Kinshasa.

Co-organized by the DRC Ministry of Scientific Research and Technological Innovation, the Ministry of Public Health, Hygiene and Social Prevention, the African Academy of Sciences (AAS), the EU Delegation to the African Union, and the CNRS, in collaboration with AUDA-NEPAD, IRD, and CSIC, this two-day event will spotlight innovative research led by African scientists and open new paths for Euro-African collaboration in science, technology, and innovation.

This conference marks the official launch of the second phase of the ARISE programme for Sustainable Development (2025–2030), in alignment with the AU-EU Innovation Agenda (2023–2032).

The sessions will focus on strengthening scientific partnerships between African and European institutions, presenting current progress on the AU-EU Innovation Agenda, and identifying new opportunities for collaboration involving DRC and EU research stakeholders.
