organised ahead of the 4th Open Science Conference: "Science as a Shared Journey: Engaging Communities, Building Trust, and Advancing Open Science for the SDGs". Researchers, librarians, publishers and citizen project leaders will discuss practical ways of involving the public in scientific processes.

In a context where science must more than ever serve the general interest, this exchange will highlight the potential of open and participatory science to meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), strengthen public confidence and promote inclusion.

The recommendations from this meeting will feed into discussions at the UN High-Level Political Forum (July 2025) and the World Conference on Open Science (October 2025).

Don't miss this opportunity to help shape a more open and inclusive science that is connected to societal issues.
