2025 UN Ocean Conference
Co-hosted by France and Costa Rica, the third United Nations Ocean Conference will take place
from Monday, 9 to Friday 13 June 2025 in Nice, France.
Under the theme "Accelerating action and mobilizing all actors to conserve and sustainably use the ocean", this high-level event will bring together governments, scientists, NGOs, Indigenous Peoples, private sector actors and other stakeholders to advance the implementation of SDG 14.
Through plenary sessions, Ocean Action Panels, and a final declaration — the Nice Ocean Action Plan — the conference aims to mobilize bold commitments for ocean protection and sustainable use of marine resources. A key event for anyone engaged in ocean, climate, and sustainability issues.
