2024-25 NEGOTIATION COACHING TRACK - Webinar #4: As a Women Scientist, Managing Difficult Situations & Acquiring more Convincing Power
Dear Alumnae,
"I am very glad that the Negotiation Coaching Track went so well last year to the extent that it is renewed: join us for another series of interactive sessions! A privileged opportunity to share thoughts and acquire tools, tips, and checklists for better negotiations. This year, we have added another session on cross-cultural negotiation: join and learn how to navigate your way in multicultural settings" Aurélien Colson
Webinar #4: As a Women Scientist, Managing Difficult Situations & Acquiring more Convincing Power
- This session will explore the connection between power, gender, and negotiation dynamics. How to evaluate the power balance? And how to manage power asymmetries? As a woman scientist, how to gain leverage and better convince others, including in difficult configurations? This session will equip you with 18 practical tools & advice.
PURPOSES:
- Building on the success of the 2023-24 edition, to contribute to your online offer of training and coaching activities;
- To suggest additional / advanced webinars for participants who have already attended negotiation so far (France or Sub-Saharan African programs);
- and to reach out to new participants, who have not yet attended any negotiation sessions.
In this perspective, the L’Oreal FWIS Negotiation Coaching Track will provide your Alumni with a qualitative, interactive, capability-building experience in the area of negotiation and partnership building.
FORMAT:
- The L’Oreal FWIS Negotiation Coaching Track comprises a series of 6 online webinars, 90 minutes each. To be scheduled between October 2024 and May 2025.
- Webinars #1 and #2 correspond to existing sessions delivered in situ. Webinars #3 and #4 were successfully developed last year. Webinar #5 is entirely new: “Navigating Cross-Cultural Negotiations”. Webinar #6 (formerly #5) remains: a co-development / problem-solving workshop enabling participants to explore their own real cases.
- While attending all sessions in the given order is preferable, new participants may “hop in” the cycle at any time of their choosing.
- Each session focuses on specific challenges. It is usually centered around a negotiation exercise (role-play), and concluded by an operational synthesis, equipping participants with tools. Although online, it is fully interactive.
