Phd candidate

Observatoire de Paris , Meudon - Graduate program

From October 2019 to Today

I work on instrumentation and science for exoplanet direct imaging. I am doing my PhD jointly between LESIA - Paris Observatory, and with the SCExAO team, at the Subaru Telescope in Hawaii. I have two main projects. First I work on implementing a new algorithm, wisely named DrWHO, allowing to reach better imaging of exoplanets, by correcting the optical aberrations within the instrument, after the atmospheric distortion was corrected through adaptive optics. My second project focuses on understanding planet formation by observing young stars and their disk. I also work on atmospheric characterisation of exoplanets, via transit spectroscopy. I am supported by NASA grant # 80NSSC19K0336.

Phd candidate

Subaru Telescope - NAOJ , Hilo - Fixed-term contract
