Community dentistry: 5th year level, an introduction to the principles of Dental public health and an emphasis on research methodology. (Theoretical course).
Preventive dentistry: 3rd year level, (theoretical course), preventive approaches to decrease dental caries, periodontal diseases, trauma, disabilities and social inequalities; an introduction to Cariology is presented.
Preventive dentistry: 3rd year level (practical course) focuses on early lesions and caries diagnosis, diet counseling, oral hygiene instructions, health education (through school visits and leaflets designing) , and fissure sealant and topical fluoride application.
